* Tuesday, September 13, 2005 * I have never seen a thunderstorm like this... Lightning flashes every other 10 secs or so. and it's not those that appears to be far away. I can feel it so near... can feel the impact that it made on the ground even though i was in a car. I was really terrified. It was so near and strong that every time it strikes, everything turns white. AWWW. It really didn't help when my instructor who was driving said that it reminds him of War of the Worlds. And he claimed he saw one strucking the ground near the car. I pray super hard... that nothing bad will happen. I'm so glad He heard it... if not i won't be blogging about this now. We were on PIE going towards steven road... the traffic going the other way was... er. SUPER HEAVY. All the vehicles weren't moving a single inch. It was like this all the way from woodlands to beyond steven road. Disgusting man. I was searching for a lightning picture to put up here when i found this article: "On average, lightning kills more people per year than tornadoes. Strikes can occur many miles from the base of a thunderstorm, even without rain -- and even with the sun shining! Listening for approaching thunder is a good idea -- unless you are the target of the first flash. You can't dodge a lightning strike; and you will never see or hear the one which hits you. With that in mind, be better prepared. " Labels: Random
